We've moved our Blog!

This summer has flown by, we've had the opportunity to photograph so many new families and catch up with some old friends. We even had a chance to get away for a few days in July to Cancun with our family, all (11) eleven of us went, we stayed at a beautiful resort.

As you know our studio is always trying to improve the way we do things; one of the things we've been doing this summer is updating our computers and software to better serve you.

Earlier this summer we added a new server to store all of your images, we now have a redundant backup system to secure your files no matter what happens. All of your images are safely stored in 2 local and 1 off-premise backups. Needless to say this was a large investment but one we felt will ensure the continuity of our business should anything ever happen. Your images are safe with us for years to come.

You may have also noticed another change, our blog, although we loved Google's Blogger we just needed something a little more robust so we've moved over to WordPress, our new address is http://jeckylproductions.wordpress.com/ you can also just click the link on our website that says Blog and it will take you right there as well. It is now easier than ever to stay up to date with our blog by subscribing to it.

We’re also adding several new programs one is a program for our babies graduating from our Visions of You program. We’ll let you know more about it as soon as everything is finalized but we are really excited about it. I know it sounds crazy but I know how you all love to call me at the last minute to get your Christmas Photos done, this year I'm bound and determined to get it done earlier so book your session early so we can get you all in.

Downtown Brennan

Brennan was in town only for a few days from Florida so we had a very small window to capture his Senior pictures. Unfortunatly it was a very rain week, the night before and the morning of it had been pouring cats & dogs. That afternoon though the sun came out and there was even a slight breeze, it wasn't even that humid surprisingly.

With the luck of the Irish on my side and good weather we were able to capture some great shots of Brennan being himself. Deep Ellum set a great stage for the shots we captured, here are just a few from our time in downtown.

Aubrey's Big Day

Aubrey came to the studio today for her 3 month pictures. Like the pretty little lady she is, she brought several outfits with her. We played and had fun, I love photographing Aubrey, her eyes just light up.

Sebastian James - Happy Days

Sebastian is a beautiful growing boy, although at first he's what Mom calls her "Shy Guy". He warms up to you quickly.

I'm certain other parents are probably aware of this but I got some new tips this past week. Anything other than Magic Bubbles is no good. These bubbles are easy to blow and are strong enough to even bounce on carpet.

All Aunt Nene had to do was ask him to spell the pretty flowers and he happily obliged.

The stream concluded our session since Sebastian wanted to take a bath. It didn't require any encouragement on my part though

Andrea and Christopher ~ Wedded Bliss

Andrea & Christopher are the perfect couple, they are the type of couple that gives you flutters in your stomach. With both of them in Acting and Entertainment they are suited for each other; a match made in Heaven. Stay tuned for more of this couple because I'll be shooting there wedding celebration in September.

Christian Alliance for Orphans

Whenever Meredith Andrews is in town I try to make sure I get a chance to go hear her sing and if she let's me I'm happy to cover the event for her. Meredith is incredibly gifted and has a huge heart, when the Christian Alliance for Orphans contacted her to perform at Irving Bible Church she didn't hesitate even though she was double booked and had to play in Virginia that evening.

Meredith lifted our spirits and hearts with her voice.
